Roe Hills Project

Kairos’s Roe Hills Project, situated 100km east of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia covers 353km2 of prospective Archean granite-greenstone geology that has known mineralisation of gold, nickel, rare earth elements (REEs) and lithium. It is known as a multi-commodity area and Kairos is pleased to hold a significant tenement package over a 40km strike length.

Historic drilling results for gold across the project and has defined a hard rock mineralised zone >5km in strike length at the Terra and Caliburn Prospects. The zone is open in all directions.

Drill results include:

  • 15m @ 1.06 g/t Au from 174m (RHDD0036)
    • Including 2m @ 1.72 g/t Au from 180.8m
  • 44m @ 1.27 g/t Au from 193m (RHDD0033)
  • 35m @ 1.00 g/t Au from 116.5m (TD1)
  • 35m @ 1.05 g/t Au from 96m (RHRC068)
  • 16m @ 1.36 g/t Au from 80m (RHRC109)
    • Including 4m @ 3.90 g/t Au from 92m
  • 22m @ 1.55 g/t Au from 144m (ROE147)
    • Including 10m @ 2.77 g/t Au from 144m

Kairos is intent on drilling additional holes to infill and extend the mineralisation beyond its current scale in preparation for an inaugural gold mineral resource estimate (MRE).

Kairos has drilled the Black Cat, Blue Jay and Crystal Palace Prospects in the north of the licences for lithium with maximum drill hits of 1.67% Li2O. The Crystal Palace Prospect lies immediately south of, and along strike of the Manna Lithium Deposit.

In 2023, a large clay-hosted REE-enriched zone up to 150m thick, covering 5km2 at Black Cat, was drilled.

This REE Project requires Stage 2 metallurgical work to confirm that the project can produce a REE-enriched concentrate with minimal beneficiation.

Black Cat – Rare Earths

  • 28m @ 3854ppm TREO from 32m incl 4m @ 23,182ppm TREO from 56m (RHRC253)
  • 48m @ 1631ppm TREO from 44m incl 12m @ 4332ppm TREO from 48m (RHRC153)
  • 36m @ 1586ppm TREO from 36m incl 12m @ 3187ppm TREO from 44m (RHRH125)
  • 20m @ 2100ppm TREO from 44m incl 8m @ 3152ppm TREO from 48m (RHRC126)
  • 114m @ 1185ppm TREO from 40m incl 12m @ 2533ppm TREO from 40m and 16m @ 2178ppm TREO from 108m (RHRC127)
  • 36m @ 1826ppm TREO from 36m incl 24m @ 2390ppm TREO from 40m (RHRC128)

These drill results provide more firm evidence that Kairos has a substantial clay-hosted rare earths discovery very close to Kalgoorlie. Furthermore, the results are clearly exceptional for clay-hosted REE mineralisation, with high grades and thick intersections recorded over such a large area, along with the high ratio of valuable magnet REEs to total REEs.

A gravity survey results show numerous additional granitic targets to drill and Kairos sees an opportunity to complete some second-stage metallurgical testwork to understand if grades can be increased via a simple beneficiation process.
